Deb and Lynda Gemmell are Canada's answer to Fiber Trends. They are the largest independent pattern producers in the Great White North. Cheerfully biased, too: they hail from the Elizabeth Zimmerman school of knitting in the round and/or minimal finishing. Their patterns are uniquely well-written and easy to follow. There are now almost one hundred and fifty available. Building on the success, they are introducing their first two yarns for Fall 2006. Northern Lights is a Lopi weight 100% wool singles with 100m to 100g in a variety of untraditional colours. Cotton Tweed is a blend of 45% cotton and 55% acrylic, 230m to 100g.
